At upper cut, we have specialist courses for all abilities run by professional fighters and co-ordinators working across film television and live performance. so if you’re an actor wanting to add skills to your arsenal, someone training to become a screen fighter, or even a person who loves film and wants to learn more, upper cut can provide you with the knowledge to get there.
Our Screen Combat Masterclasses are specially designed to give you the skills and confidence to take up arms with your fellow performers and be set-ready for all occasions. Each of our courses will focus on helping you master the specific skills and style needed for the unique weapon involved, giving detailed and crucial training for any aspiring action actor, stunt performer, or special action extra.
Each Masterclass will run through the unique mechanics of fighting with your weapon of choice, with the Upper Cut fight team showing you how to get the optimum results for the camera. We then choreograph a personalised fight routine with you to help you jump in and begin your journey as a screen fighter.
During each of our Masterclasses, our fight team will give you 1-1 feedback on all of your work in order to advance your skills as a screen fighter. We will also professionally film your fights, making them available for you to do with what you like.
Gone are the days of paper certification, demonstration of your skill set is valued higher than providing a piece of paper and it is for this reason that we provide you with a professionally filmed, industry ready edit of your fight for socials and fight-reels.
